BRISBANE midfielder Jarrod Berry will be available to play finals after being cleared of serious shoulder damage.

The young Lion was injured in the second quarter (watch the incident in the player below) of Wednesday night's QClash victory against Gold Coast, landing awkwardly after being tackled.

Berry is unavailable for Sunday's match against Sydney in Cairns but will be back for Brisbane's finals campaign.

It's good news for the Lions with the 22-year-old in the best form of his young career.

Brisbane will also be without young defender Brandon Starcevich (concussion) to play the Swans, while Harris Andrews is also recovering from a hamstring tear.

Lincoln McCarthy is a chance to play after suffering a corked quad against the Suns.

Brisbane's high performance manager Damien Austin said the half-forward had recovered better than expected and would be given "every chance possible" to play.
