AFL CHIEF executive officer Gillon McLachlan has announced a price freeze on all tickets for all matches across the 2020 Toyota AFL Finals Series, including the Grand Final.

After a subsequent price freeze on weeks 1-3 in 2019, the AFL continues its commitment to affordability by freezing tickets nationally, across all games and venues, all the way through to the Toyota AFL Grand Final.

The entry level reserved seat category for weeks one and two will remain at $35, with week three matches (preliminary finals) at $65, and the Grand Final at $185.

Mr McLachlan said the price freeze was put in place to honour the commitment members and fans had made to their clubs in a COVID-19 affected season.

Regardless of how many fans can attend matches in each state, I know the atmosphere will be electric and the roar of the crowd will be as loud as ever

"It has been a challenging year for everyone, so now, more than ever, our commitment remains to keep finals footy prices as an affordable option and thanking the members and fans who have stuck by their club's this season.

"It will be a final series like no other, but our venues in Queensland, South Australia and Western Australia are ready to host the biggest games of the season, and most importantly in a COVID-safe environment for all.

Finals Series ticket holders and relevant AFL and Medallion Club Memberships 15 per cent, Premium hospitality packages 16 per cent and the remaining 15 per cent made up of AFL stakeholders, Corporate and Broadcast partners.

Any club members allocation that isn't taken up then goes on sale to the general public.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT LIGHTS Finals set for mid-week start

"The Queensland community has whole heartedly welcomed the AFL family over the last few months and we look forward to getting as many Queenslanders to the biggest and best event on the Australian sporting calendar," Mr McLachlan said.

In line with Queensland Government and chief health officer protocols, the capacity for the Gabba Grand Final day is currently 30,000. If there is a change to this the ticket allocation will adjust across the board accordingly.
