The AFL is pleased to announce the fixtures for Round 10 of the NAB AFL Women’s Competition and Round One of the 2022 Toyota AFL Premiership Season.

AFL Chief Executive Officer Gillon McLachlan said the league was excited the NAB AFL Women’s Competition would welcome back fans across the country next year before the 2022 Toyota AFL Premiership Season commences.

“Footy is back in just over a month and like many supporters, we are truly excited for NAB AFLW to welcome football back for fans across the country,” Mr McLachlan said.

“The NAB AFLW Competition will for the first time see clubs play in a 10-round home-and-away season and, if previous seasons are anything to go by, we are expecting a strong finish in that final round of the NAB AFLW season.

“We look forward to seeing fans and families return to NAB AFLW games with tickets remaining at $10 for Adults and free for kids under 18 – to ensure it is affordable for every single fan.”

Round 10 of the 2022 NAB AFL Women’s Competition will see all matches played in Victoria as part of a Victorian Festival of Football announced earlier today before leading into Round One of the 2022 Toyota AFL Premiership Season.

“The AFLW and AFL Footy Festival in Victoria will give all footy fans from metro and regional Victoria, and those travelling from interstate, an opportunity to come to a game and see their AFLW and AFL teams across a 10-day period.

“The first bounce of the 2022 Toyota AFL Premiership Season will take place on March 16 when reigning Premier, Melbourne, host the Western Bulldogs at the MCG. It will be the first time since 2000 that the season starts on a Wednesday night.”

Carlton vs. Richmond will take place on Thursday night at the MCG before St Kilda host Collingwood at Marvel Stadium on Friday, March 18.

On Saturday March 19, the Geelong Cats will start their season at the MCG when they host Essendon before the GWS GIANTS battle it out against rival Sydney Swans at Accor Stadium.
