There were mixed results for Vic Metro and Vic Country on the weekend in the first of their AFL Women’s Under-16 representative games.

Metro defeated the NSW/ACT Rams by 25 points at Rams Arena on Saturday, while Country lost to South Australia by 10 points at McDonald Park in Mount Gambier on Sunday.

 

The two Victorian teams will now face off on Saturday June 22 at Avalon Airport Oval from 12pm as a curtain-raiser to the NAB AFL Women's Under-18 Championships clash between Vic Country and Vic Metro.
