COLLINGWOOD defender Billy Frampton was cleared of rough conduct at the AFL Tribunal on Wednesday night.

The Match Review Officer charged Frampton with rough conduct for his tackle on Melbourne's Brody Mihocek on Monday, grading the incident as careless, severe impact and high contact, leading to the three-game ban.

But after deliberating for around 50 minutes, the AFL Tribunal dismissed the charge, meaning Frampton is free to play in Collingwood's next match, against Port Adelaide in round 15.
