THE WESTERN Bulldogs have confirmed they will appear midfielder Matt Kennedy's one-match ban at the Tribunal for his bump on Caiden Cleary during Friday night's loss to Sydney.

The Dogs are also appealing the fines handed down to Will Lewis (staging) and Jordan Croft (engaging in a melee).

Kennedy caught Cleary high as both looked to gather a loose ball during the second quarter of the Bulldogs' loss at the SCG.

The Match Review Officer charged Kennedy with forceful front-on contact, grading it as careless conduct, medium impact and high contact.

If the ban stands, Kennedy will miss the Bulldogs' clash with West Coast on Sunday.

That was the only suspension from Friday night's games, with teammate Lewis fined for staging in a final quarter incident with Swan Nick Blakey.
