St Kilda has confirmed that ruck Rowan Marshall has requested a trade for the second year running.
On the back of the report from AFL.com.au's Cal Twomey on Monday night, the Saints released a statement on Tuesday morning acknowledged Marshall's desire to move clubs.

Marshall wanted a move to Geelong in last year's trade period but the Saints held firm on the contracted big man, who still has one year remaining on his deal at Moorabbin.
Twelve months on, and with Tom De Koning the club's preferred No.1 ruck option, Marshall is again seeking a move, despite playing 21 games for St Kilda this year.
The Saints said the 30-year-old has not nominated a preferred destination but he is again eyeing a move to Geelong
The Western Bulldogs, who are adamant they aren't trading Tim English, and Essendon have also shown an interest in Marshall.
Cats coach Chris Scott was tight-lipped on his club's prospects of signing the 30-year-old.
"If I was (interested), I wouldn't tell you," Scott told reporters on Tuesday.
"It's an unfortunate situation. I think everyone would like us all to be a bit more open, but I think it's got to the stage now (where) the communication should be driven by the players themselves.
"I don't think it's our place to sort of speak on their behalf so it's probably a question better directed at him."
Scott said the fact Marshall remained contracted at the Saints complicated matters.
"It's probably not appropriate for us to talk about an opposition contracted player," he said.
"It's a bit different for the guys that are uncontracted, I guess."
Marshall played 21 games this season for the Saints, who said they would consider their options ahead of the trade period which opens on October 5.
"Marshall has not nominated a preferred destination at this stage, with the club making clear that any trade will need to be in the best interests of the St Kilda Football Club," the statement said.
