GOLD Coast forward Jed Walter has won the Telstra AFL Grand Final Sprint for a second year in a row.
In the race started by Olympic gold medallist and Australian sporting legend Cathy Freeman, Walter ran down Tasmania VFL player Brandon Leary, who finished second ahead of West Coast's No.1 draft pick Willem Duursma.

As well as glory on Grand Final Day, Walter's junior club will receive $5000.
The other runners were Hawthorn's Jarman Impey, Port Adelaide's Aliir Aliir, Western Bulldog Arty Jones and Carlton's Ollie Florent, with North Melbourne's Luke Davies-Uniacke bringing up the rear of the field.
