COLLINGWOOD is set to be without important goalkicker Jordan De Goey for the rest of the home and away season after the Pies confirmed his long-term injury.
De Goey had finger surgery last week after suffering the tendon tear in his best-on-ground five-goal performance against Geelong in Perth.

The Pies were waiting on the results of the surgery before releasing his likely return date, but are preparing to be without the forward for the rest of the home and away season.
"[It's a] pretty significant injury," Magpies football boss Geoff Walsh told the club's website.
"It'll be a couple of months I think before we see Jordy back in action. It looked fairly innocuous but they are serious injuries to the tendons.
"It'll be a fair while before we see him back, unfortunately."
The AFL is hoping to complete its home and away season by mid-to-late September with its condensed fixture over the next two months, meaning De Goey may not be available until the finals.
