SYDNEY has begun its list cull, announcing five delistings headlined by six-gamer Ryley Stoddart.

Joining Stoddart in departing the Swans are Michael Knoll, Jack Maibaum, Harry Reynolds and Brady Rowles.

Stoddart played six games for the Swans, but only two in this past season, after making the NEAFL Team of the Year in 2019.

Fellow defender and Eastern Ranges product Maibaum didn't make a senior appearance after originally being drafted in 2016 then being delisted and redrafted as a rookie last year.

He also dealt with a personal tragedy mid-season that saw him leave Sydney's hub early.

The Swans selected Knoll in last year's NAB Mid-Season Rookie Draft to bolster their ruck stocks, but injuries contributed to him not playing an AFL match.

Reynolds and Rowles also leave without making their senior debut.
