CARLTON'S underdog status ahead of Sunday's NAB AFLW Grand Final against Adelaide is of no concern to coach Daniel Harford.

Harford joined Nat Edwards, Lucy Watkin and Sarah Black on a Grand Final preview edition of podcast Credit to the Girls.

"It doesn't really bother me, to be honest and I don't think it bothers the girls, to be quite frank," Harford said.

"What we need to do is just play the game we need to play. What people think … is not overly relevant at all, to be honest.

"Underdogs, favourites, couldn’t really care. And that's the sort of mindset we're trying to ingrain in the girls."

After a 60-point victory over Melbourne and a 66-point thumping of Geelong in the past two weeks, the Crows are strong favourites for the premiership.

"It doesn't matter who it is, where it is, what jumpers you where, what conditions are there, what the bookies say, what the tipsters say, it doesn't matter," Harford said.

"What matters is what we can control and what we do, and we're in full control of what we do. That's the beauty of footy.

"Opinions are fantastic. They're a bit like backsides, we've all got them, but in the end, nothing else matters aside from what we do."
