WEST Coast forward Kellie Gibson will miss the remainder of AFLW season seven after rupturing her left ACL in her side's win over Port Adelaide on Saturday.

After kicking the opening goal of the game, Gibson landed awkwardly trying to win the ball from the next centre stoppage and left the ground in the arms of trainers.

"Unfortunately, scans have confirmed the worst and it's disappointing news for Kellie and the entire squad," said Michelle Cowan, West Coast's head of women's football.

"We will wrap our arms around Kellie and support her through her rehabilitation. She is a proud and passionate Eagle, and we know that she will be doing everything she can to support the team for the rest of the season.

"While Kellie will not be playing this season, she will be still around the playing group and the club working alongside Rehab Physiotherapist Alex Chin."

The Eagles have also confirmed that forward Aimee Schmidt will be unavailable for this weekend's match against Gold Coast after suffering delayed concussion symptoms.
