BRISBANE and North Melbourne will host qualifying finals in the first week of the NAB AFL Women's finals series after Fremantle fell just short of pinching fourth spot from the Kangaroos.

The Dockers downed Gold Coast by 37 points at Fremantle Oval but it wasn't enough to lift their percentage past the Roos' tally of 139.0.

Fremantle will now travel east to take on North at Arden Street Oval at 2.10pm AEDT on Saturday. The winner of that match will take on Adelaide the following week, after the Crows sealed their second successive minor premiership with a comfortable win over St Kilda on Sunday afternoon.
