HOW YOU use your two trades in AFL Fantasy each week can make or break your weekend.

There is almost always some 'trading regret' as lockout starts and a player who was on the shortlist to bring in dominates, or the player you ended up going with, stinks it up.

Warnie copped this last weekend.

Bomber David Zaharakis was on his lips all pre-season, but he didn’t go with his instincts and selected Brad Crouch instead.

He had the opportunity to right that wrong when trading out Crouch last week.

Instead, he opted for Lachie Hunter.

Although Hunter still added $17,000 off the back of his 86, Zaharakis is averaging 121 and has increased $88,000 over the first three rounds.

There are plenty of players that offer value heading into round four.

Tom Ruggles (DEF, $148,000) and Marcus Adams (DEF/FWD, $274,000) are the two most traded in players this week, highlighting the cash making ability in the backline.

The highest scoring Fantasy player this season, Aaron Hall (FWD/MID, $525,000), is the third-most traded in player and now sits as the seventh most popular player overall.

Picking at least one cheap defender seems to be status quo this round with Ciaran Byrne (DEF, $145,000) another sound option.

A double downgrade is on the cards allowing coaches to have the cash to go bang next week.

Cashing up is a good call, but Warnie is a little worried about falling off the pace with that cash in the bank.

Team selection will have a lot to do with what happens with trades, but the age old rule of buying low and selling high, should always underpin everything you do in Fantasy.

The Traders will be chatting from 6:15pm AEST on the official AFL Fantasy Facebook page answering your questions and reacting live as the round four teams drop.
