Hi Ash, who has the biggest arms at the club and what is the measurement, not flexed of course. Thanks in advance.
Matt from Yulara (NT)

We don’t measure them, but I’d have to say Goose Maguire. He spends a lot of time on them.

Joelly Patfull, every time the off season comes and he’s going overseas, he seems to get in there and tries to pump them up a bit. But his arms actually look a bit more like string beans.

Hey Ash how’s it going. Just wondering what exactly is your tat and also what T.V shows do you like to watch? I would like to also say thankyou for taking your time last month to take a photo with me at the Brisbane Lions Family Day In Melbourne.
Sarah from Melbourne (VIC)

No worries Sarah, it was good to see you all down there at the family day. My left arm tat is a Japanese coyfish pattern. And on the right arm are some tats for my family.

My favourite show to watch - I don’t mind a bit of Iron Chef and Entourage.

G'day Ash, two quick questions, who out of the Lions have you got in your DT? And can you see Brad Harvey possibly playing senior footy this year? Good luck for the remainder of the season:)
Dale from Bendigo (VIC)

I’ve got the Baringa Boys (Tom Rockliff, Jack Redden and James Polkinghorne) in my Dream Team. Rocky is going well in the points so I’ll keep him in there. Reddo needs to do something though or else he’ll be pulled.

Brad Harvey has a solid build for a young kid and I’m sure that he’ll get his chance this year at playing senior footy.

Who has the worst taste in music and DVDs at the club?
Shannon from Coomera (QLD)

Joel Patfull definitely has the worst taste in movies. For a bloke without a girlfriend, he loves his chick flicks. He had a few boys around for a movie night a few weeks back and the movie he’d picked out was The Notebook. The boys weren’t very impressed with that one.

We caught Bart McCulloch the other day in the gym by himself and he was pumping the Miley Cyrus, singing along to Party in the USA while he was doing his weights. He knew all the words and everything. He would definitely have to be the one with the worst taste in music.

Hey Ash, Im a mad supporter from WA. Mate where to now that the club is 3 zip and Brownys months away from playing?
Lee from Bayswater (WA)

We’re 3 zip but we could easily be 2-1 so the boys are still pretty confident. We played a lot of the pre-season without Browny and we won some games so we know we can find the boys to fill in that spot.

Hey Ash, Just wondering how Drummo is holding up? Are we likely to see him back on the field soon? With him, as well as the likes of yourself, Merrett and Patfull, the Lions defence will be a force to be reckoned with!
Caitlyn from Buderim (QLD)

Drummo’s coming along good. He should be back pretty soon I think. When we get him back, the backline, like myself, Patfull, Merrett will be a defence to be reckoned with for sure.

How is fatherhood going Ash? Are you getting good at changing nappies?
Kara from Richmond (VIC)

Fatherhood’s going well, yeah I’m changing a few nappies. I usually pretend I don’t hear Mikayla in the mornings though so her mum gets up to sort her out, that way I get to sleep in a bit more.

Out of all the full forwards you’ve matched up against in your time, who do you rate most as a player?
Richard from Cumberland Park (SA)

I’d probably rate Mark Le Cras. He’s quick and can take a grab and I’d say he’s one of the toughest opponents I’ve had in my time.

Hey Ash. Any plans for the bye round? Will you head back to WA?
Sam from Fitzroy (VIC)

No plans really for the bye round, I’m not going back to WA. It’s pretty expensive to get back there these days, and by the time I get there and come back I only really get a day with my friends and family. I’ll stay in Brisbane and change nappies.
