IT SAYS a fair bit about returning Greater Western Sydney backman Zac Williams that he has missed all season but will still be in the top 20 on the SCG, based on the Schick AFL Player Ratings.

Williams is the 174th-ranked player in the competition despite not having taken to the field this year, having suffered a ruptured Achilles tendon in January.

SCHICK AFL PLAYER RATINGS Who are your club's leaders?

The Player Ratings are calculated by Champion Data and consider an individual's past 40 games over a rolling two-year period, using a variety of stats, with greater weighting given to more recent matches.

Williams, 23, started 2018 ranked No.24.

In what is expected to be a desperately even contest, the Swans will have four of the top six on the ground, headlined by superstar Lance Franklin.

However, the Giants will have the next five best players after that.
