The Adelaide Football Club is one of eighteen teams participating in the AFL.  The Club has a proven track record of success both on and off the field.

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative leader to head up our Supporter Services Team, based at West Lakes. This is an exciting time to join the Adelaide Football Club, as we will be playing our home games at the new Adelaide Oval. The oval will create a wonderful new experience for our existing members and we have an opportunity to grow our membership base, due to what the new facility will offer to patrons.

The General Manager – Supporter Services will be responsible for the generation of new memberships and for maximising match day attendances.  This role will lead and develop membership sales, membership retention, the design of innovative packages and driving and measuring member service satisfaction. The position is responsible for developing and coordinating member service initiatives, in particular member-oriented events and functions. A key focus of the role is developing new initiatives intended to engage public support and expand upon all levels of club memberships.

We are seeking candidates that will be able to drive strategy and direction for fan and member engagement.

In order to be successful in this role, you will be an energetic and professional person with well-developed Membership, Marketing, Event and Ticketing background along with expertise in engagement strategies.  Additionally you will:-

  • Be able to lead and motivate a sales team.
  • Be able to manage and co-ordinate key Club events and functions.
  • Possess strong organisational and administrative skills.
  • Possess highly developed public relations, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Have strong client liaison and relationship skills.    
  • Be able to prepare proposals and conduct presentations.
  • Have strategic planning skills.
  • Have advanced analysis and reporting skills.
