CARLTON has suffered a massive blow with skipper Marc Murphy withdrawing from the side to face North Melbourne at Blundstone Arena.
Murphy injured his left foot in the warm-up and struggled to put any weight on it.
Carlton football manager Andrew McKay confirmed he aggravated a plantar fascia problem and he will have scans next week.
The Blues made the call to replace him five minutes before the opening bounce.
Nick Graham came in as his replacement.
The Roos are unchanged.
