A TIGHT-LIPPED Dylan Shiel has jetted into Melbourne as he prepares to announce his football future on Tuesday.

Shiel arrived in from Sydney, set to meet with manager Paul Connors, ahead of revealing his club of choice for 2019 and beyond later in the day.

Hawthorn, Carlton, Essendon and St Kilda have expressed interest in the 25-year-old midfielder who remains contracted at the Giants for next season.

However, the Giants have allowed Shiel to explore his options, one year before he becomes a free agent.

"Hopefully it comes out today, I'll meet with my manager and see how we go," Shiel told AFL.com.au.

When asked if he had narrowed it down to two clubs, with Hawthorn and Carlton believed to be leading the race, Shiel gave little away.

"Maybe, we'll wait and see," he said with a smile.

More to come.
