Box Hill Hawks and VFLW State Team ruck Paige Price has joined the Gold Coast Suns ahead of the 2026 NAB AFLW season.

The 23-year-old represented the VFLW in the 2026 State Game against the SANFL in April following an outstanding campaign for Box Hill last year.

Price was named ruck in the 2025 VFLW Team of the Year after averaging 32.4 hitouts and 12.5 disposals across 17 matches.

She was listed for the Hawks again for the 2026 season, but didn't feature across the opening two rounds.

Gold Coast SUNS General Manager of Women’s Football Erin Phillips said Price deserved another shot at the top level, having been listed by St Kilda in 2021 and 2022.

“We are excited to see Paige earn her opportunity to move onto our AFLW list,” Phillips told goldcoastfc.com.au.

“Paige has shown a real commitment and desire to get the best out of herself over the last 12 months, which culminated in her earning selection as the VFLW Team of the Year ruck in 2025.

“We couldn't be happier to provide her the opportunity to continue improving her football now at the top level and look forward to Paige integrating with our group as we continue our pre-season.”

Price joins as a replacement player for Georgia Clayden, who has been moved to the inactive list for the 2026 NAB AFLW season.
