The VFLW teams for Round 4.

2024 Rohenna Young Medal winner Monique DeMatteo has been recalled by Darebin for its clash with the Western Bulldogs at Mission Whitten Oval.

The prolific goal kicker missed last week’s loss to reigning premier North Melbourne Werribee but returns to the Falcons’ line-up as they continue their push for a breakthrough win in 2026.

Former Gold Coast Suns and GWS Giants midfielder Claire Ransom will make her club debut for Tasmania when it hosts North Melbourne Werribee at North Hobart Oval.

The Tasmanian was added to the Devils list this week and provides great cover following season-ending injuries to Jessie Williams and Meghan Gaffney.

Former Essendon and Geelong midfielder Abbey McDonald will make her debut for Collingwood when the Magpies clash with the Casey Demons.

McDonald has played 25 VFLW games for the Bombers and Cats and represented the Big V against the SANFLW in 2025.

Essendon has included Christina Bernardi for her first game of the season when it hosts Carlton at Windy Hill.

Meanwhile, Port Melbourne has bolstered its line-up ahead of a clash against Williamstown, with Emily Harley and Kaitlyn O’Keefe both set play their first games of the season.
