GREATER Western Sydney forward Jeremy Cameron will face the Tribunal on Tuesday night after a request to delay the hearing by 24 hours was denied by the AFL.

Cameron was sent direct to the Tribunal by the Match Review Panel for a high bump on Brisbane Lions draftee Rhys Mathieson, which left the 19-year-old hospitalised with a broken cheekbone.

The Giants had requested to hold the Tribunal hearing on Wednesday to allow extra time to prepare their defence, but the AFL has ruled it will go ahead on Tuesday night, as is standard.

Cameron, who was reported on the day, is certain to face a spell on the sidelines after the MRP graded his hit as careless with severe impact to the head.

The Tribunal is free to set the penalty it feels is appropriate.

All other players sanctioned by the MRP have accepted their penalties.

Geelong youngster Nakia Cockatoo will miss two matches for his dangerous tackle on Fremantle defender Michael Johnson, while Carlton midfielder Dale Thomas and Lions forward Dayne Zorko will both miss one week for striking offences.

Richmond's Dustin Martin and Port Adelaide's Jarman Impey have accepted $1000 fines for wrestling each other, Carlton's Andrew Walker has accepted a $1000 fine for wrestling Sydney Swans defender Jeremy Laidler, and Hawthorn's Blake Hardwick and Melbourne's Cameron Pedersen have accepted $1000 fines for striking.
