HAWTHORN spearhead Jarryd Roughead has narrowly avoided missing this Saturday's Grand Final through suspension, with the Match Review Panel offering him a reprimand for his bump on Geelong's Cameron Guthrie last Friday night.

Fellow Hawk Grant Birchall will also be available to take on Fremantle after his third-quarter bump on Cat Mathew Stokes received the all clear from the MRP on Monday.

No other incidents were assessed from last week's preliminary finals, meaning Fremantle will not lose any players to suspension either.

The MRP charged Roughead with rough conduct for his bump on Guthrie in the fourth quarter of the first preliminary final.

Roughead's conduct was found to be negligent, low impact and involving high contact, drawing 125 demerit points and a one-match sanction.

However if Roughead enters a guilty plea his penalty will be reduced to 93.75 points and a reprimand.

It is hard to imagine Roughead challenging the MRP's finding because if he does and is found guilty by the Tribunal he will miss the Grand Final.

The MRP found that Birchall's bump on Stokes was "solely to the body" and "involved no forceful contact".
