The inside word
The 26-year-old forward is pushing for a third AFL chance after a standout 2013 season with Doncaster East in the Eastern Football League (38 goals from 12 games). Originally selected by Richmond in the 2006 NAB AFL Draft, Peterson did not play a senior game in his single season with the Tigers, but subsequently spent 2009-10 on Hawthorn's rookie list, playing 17 games in his final season. Quick and strong overhead, he trained with St Kilda in the lead-up to this year's draft.
