ELLIOT Yeo is finally a West Coast player after the Brisbane Lions traded him to the Eagles in exchange for pick No.28 in the 2013 NAB AFL Draft.
The Eagles and Lions met at AFL House on Thursday to finalise the deal, lodging their paperwork with less than 24 hours remaining in the Gillette AFL Trade Period.
Yeo, who requested a trade home to Perth to be closer to friends and family, becomes the third Lion to officially move after Sam Docherty (Carlton) and Jared Polec's (Port Adelaide) moves were confirmed earlier on Thursday.
The trade was made possible after West Coast completed a swap of draft picks with Collingwood on Monday, sending its No.6 selection to the Magpies in a complex deal that landed the Eagles picks No.11 and No.31.
The Eagles were able to hold pick No.31, maintaining a presence in the second round, and send the Lions their pick No.28 for Yeo.

The 20-year-old nominated West Coast as his preferred club in September, but a deal could not be agreed for a third round selection.
Yeo has played 27 games, including 19 in 2013, since being recruited with pick No.30 in the 2011 NAB AFL Draft.
Billy Longer is pushing for a move to St Kilda, while Patrick Karnezis could be traded to Collingwood in a straight swap for Jackson Paine.
