JOSH Glenn was invited to last year's NAB AFL Draft Combine, but declined to attend and withdrew from the draft.

A year on, the South Australian midfielder from Central Districts has again had enough clubs show interest in him to be selected for the draft combine, and this time, he's ready to impress.

Glenn joins this week's Road to the Draft podcast, featuring AFL.com.au's Callum Twomey and Nat Edwards, to speak about his AFL aspirations.

Glenn talks through how he came to the unusual decision last year, why he still thinks it was the right call and how he is more ready for what may lie ahead this time around.

The podcast dissects the lists of prospects recently invited to the national and state draft combines and finds some who are rising up the draft board.

Road to the Draft also turns the spotlight on middle-tier sides Gold Coast, Collingwood and Essendon, and the type of players they might look for come November's NAB AFL Draft.
