RICHMOND has extended gun midfielder Brandon Ellis' contract until the end of the 2017 season.
The Tigers have also re-signed much-improved big man Ben Griffiths and yet-to-debut youngsters Liam McBean and Kamdyn McIntosh.
Ellis, who earlier this week was named in the 40-man All Australian squad, wasn't due to come out of contract until the end of next season.
"Brandon's had a breakout season this year, exerting significant influence within the team due to his elite running ability and capacity to win plenty of the ball," Richmond football manager Dan Richardson said.
Griffiths has been a revelation since replacing Ty Vickery in the team after Vickery received a four-match suspension for striking West Coast's Dean Cox during the round 18 win over the Eagles.
His new deal ties him to Richmond until the end of the 2016 season.
"Ben has been able to cement his spot in the team through hard work and perseverance, and it's a great reward for him to be able to develop further over the next two seasons and beyond," Richardson added.
McBean's new contract will also keep him at the Tigers until the end of the 2016 season, while McIntosh has been granted a one-year deal that gives him the chance to prove himself in 2015.
"Liam and Kamdyn have shown significant improvement over their two seasons at the club so far, and we believe they will continue to progress to become senior players in the future," Richardson said.
