TWO MONTHS after fracturing his skull, Adelaide defender Brent Reilly can't drive a car let alone consider a return to the AFL.

Reilly had emergency surgery on multiple skull fractures from a February 9 training accident.

"He was at training yesterday so progress is coming along," Crows coach Phil Walsh told reporters on Thursday.

There was no rush to Reilly's recovery or possible return to the AFL, Walsh said.

"He still has some rehab work that he needs to be doing at the moment, he can't drive a car at the moment, so we are just going to let him get his life in order and then we'll make those decisions," he said.
