CARLTON midfielder Blaine Boekhorst, the Blues' first pick in the 2014 NAB AFL Draft, may make his AFL debut in Wellington, New Zealand on Anzac Day against St Kilda.

The mature-age recruit selected at pick No.19 has been named in the club's 25-man squad to travel to New Zealand.

The Blues have also added Dylan Buckley to the squad alongside recruits Kristian Jacksch (who played for GWS last season) and Matthew Dick (who joined Carlton from the Swans).

Mark Whiley was originally named in the squad before being withdrawn just an hour later and replaced by Jason Tutt.

All five inclusions have been named on an extended interchange bench.

Blues speedster Chris Yarran is missing through suspension and Irish rookie Ciaran Byrne will miss through a hamstring injury after making his debut last week.

The Saints will be without three members of their leadership group with tagger player Mav Weller out with a calf injury.

Skipper Nick Riewoldt is missing again after aggravating a calf injury during the warm-up in last Friday night's clash against Collingwood and Leigh Montagna remains on the sidelines after injuring his knee ahead of round one.

Big ruckman Tom Hickey has been named with the Saints hopeful he will play his first game for the season alongside Darren Minchington, Tom Curren and Eli Templeton.

However, late on Wednesday, the AFL announced Templeton had withdrawn from St Kilda's 25-man squad, with Blake Acres his replacement.
