LUCKLESS Adelaide midfielder Brad Crouch could be set for more time on the sidelines after experiencing foot soreness in the SANFL on Sunday.

The 21-year-old was taken off the ground in the opening quarter of the Crows' SANFL Showdown against Port Adelaide and took no further part.

The youngster fractured his left foot in the final round of the NAB Challenge against Port Adelaide in March and had surgery to repair the injury.

Crouch made a comeback via the SANFL three weeks ago prior to the club's bye, but did not feature last weekend after experiencing pain in his troublesome foot.

While scans cleared Crouch of any bone damage last week, the promising midfielder will again have scans over the coming days to determine the severity of his latest setback.

Crouch, who is the older brother of fellow Crow Matt, has played 25 AFL games since making his debut in round two, 2013.

He finished runner-up in the 2013 NAB AFL Rising Star behind Gold Coast's Jaeger O'Meara and impressed in his two NAB Challenge games this year, where he ranked second in the competition for clearances.

Crouch suffered an Achilles tear last year that sidelined him for three months.
