RICHMOND defender Troy Chaplin says the Tigers are every chance to 'do the double’ over ladder leaders Fremantle this Saturday at the MCG.

The Tigers became the first side to beat the Dockers this season when they opened their round 10 game in Perth with an eight-goal first quarter.

"(That game) was a bit of an anomaly, but we know that we're capable of beating Fremantle," Chaplin told reporters on Tuesday morning at Punt Road.

"It's going to be very hard to replicate that, there's not many times that teams have come out and done that against a Ross Lyon-coached side.

The Tigers will need to find a quick fix to the dramatic fourth quarter fade-out that let St Kilda back in with a sniff last Sunday evening.

"It was disappointing, we went away from what was working for us in the second and third quarters," Chaplin said.

"We just lost critical contests and our ball movement going forward certainly hindered our opportunities.

"We just couldn't win contested footy and we didn't tackle very well."

Chaplin, 29, will play his 200th game on Saturday, a milestone the former Port Adelaide defender didn't think he'd reach.

"I never thought I'd get to 200, it's taken a while," he said.

"It's humbling and something to look back on once the career's finished and be pretty satisfied with.

"It's not easy, and the way the game's changed over the past few years, it's got a lot harder, the body's starting to feel it a bit more now."
