ADELAIDE has re-signed emerging defender Jake Kelly for another two seasons, keeping him at West Lakes until 2017.
The 20-year-old was elevated to the Crows' senior list in May after impressing throughout the club's NAB Challenge campaign.
He made his AFL debut against Melbourne in round three and has since playing another nine senior games.
Along with rookie ruckman Reilly O'Brien, Kelly is odds on to be permanently elevated to the senior list next year.
“I’m rapt to be at the club for another two years,” Kelly said.
“It’s a fantastic club. We’re going in the right direction, I know that for sure.”
Kelly is nicknamed 'The Bull' at training due to his aggressive attack on the football.
Crows head of football David Noble said Kelly's fearless approach to contests was a massive strength of the 189cm backman.
“Jake is a super competitor and someone who always thinks about the team first,” Noble said.
“His attack on the footy and the opposition is a real asset and something we value highly.”
