COLLINGWOOD forward Alex Fasolo is concerned he may have suffered a crack in the humerus bone in the Magpies' loss to the Western Bulldogs on Sunday.

The 23-year-old had scans on Monday to determine the extent of his injury and will await news from the club doctor.

Fasolo was not exactly sure of the nature of injury but it was serious enough to keep him from the ground for the final quarter.

"I'm not 100 per cent sure what is wrong with it but I have just had some scans and touched base with the doc," Fasolo said.

"I think it is my humerus."

He attempted to get himself right for the last quarter to give his teammates a chance for a rest but the pain he felt when a trainer threw the football his way ensured he could take no further part in the game.

"I thought it was probably not a good idea to get out there," Fasolo said.

Collingwood also lost Darcy Moore to a collarbone injury and Taylor Adams, who injured his hamstring before half-time.

Premiership veteran Alan Toovey was ruled out of the game through concussion.

Fasolo said the group could take confidence from the performance despite the result.

"We're not looking to make excuses but as a group we should take a lot from that game," Fasolo said.

"It shows that our best can go with anyone."
