- Veteran midfielder Brent Stanton dropped again by the Dons
- Crows drop experienced onballer David Mackay for Saints clash

HAWTHORN has dropped free agent recruit Ty Vickery for the second time this season ahead of Saturday's clash against Gold Coast at the MCG.

The former Richmond key forward, who has struggled for form in his first year with the Hawks, has been replaced by young tall Tim O'Brien, with midfielder Will Langford also recalled.

Wingman Dallas Willsmore has been omitted as the Hawks search for their fifth win this season and fight to keep their finals hopes alive.

Gold Coast has made two changes, dropping prized draftee Will Brodie and defender Jarrod Harbrow, who has been suspended by the club for driving under the influence of alcohol.

Adelaide will unveil mature-age rookie Jonathon Beech in Friday night's clash against St Kilda, with the tall forward named after a strong patch of form in the SANFL.

The Crows have also recalled Riley Knight, with senior midfielder David Mackay dropped, for the second time in 2017, and defender Luke Brown sidelined with a fractured jaw.

Saints key forward Josh Bruce has earned a reprieve after three weeks in the VFL, with the former Giant recalled for the trip to Adelaide.

The Saints have also named defender Jimmy Webster and forward Nathan Wright, omitting Shane Savage, Daniel McKenzie and Darren Minchington.

Tall forward Matt Taberner and defender Ethan Hughes have been dropped, with midfielder Ed Langdon injured.

The Power have also made just one change, regaining important half-forward Chad Wingard at the expense of Aaron Young.

Carlton has recalled Dale Thomas for Sunday's clash against Greater Western Sydney at Etihad Stadium after the midfielder missed one match with concussion, with draftee Harrison Macreadie returning to the VFL.

Liam Jones, Billie Smedts and Jed Lamb have all been included in the Blues' 25-man squad.

There is still no Rory Lobb for the Giants, who have added Steve Johnson and Jeremy Finlayson to their extended squad.

Former Geelong ruckman Dawson Simpson could make his debut for the club if he makes the final 22 when squads are trimmed on Friday afternoon.

Collingwood defender Tom Langdon will play his first game since round six last year after being named in the starting 18 for the Queen's Birthday clash against Melbourne at the MCG.

Alex Fasolo has also been named in the 18 after taking a one-match break to focus on a mental health condition, while coach Nathan Buckley has already declared father-son selection Callum Brown will make his debut.

The Magpies need to make at least three changes, with injuries forcing out Daniel Wells (calf), Tyson Goldsack (shoulder) and Jamie Elliott (ankle).

Mason Cox, James Aish and former Fremantle forward Chris Mayne have all been named on the extended bench.
