TOP FOUR or bust.

That's the expectation for GWS from fans giving their mid-season verdict on the Giants in an AFL.com.au survey.

A full 97 per cent of respondents believed the team will have a double chance come finals.

Prized midfielder Josh Kelly, who is yet to re-sign with the club, was voted the Giants' best performer in the first half of the season with a whopping 70 per cent of total votes.

Brett Deledio has endured a luckless run with injury after moving up from Richmond. He is yet to play a match, and has been named as an underperformer by fans.

Here are the full survey results, plus a selection of Giants fans' hopes for the club's first flag.

It'll be a good year for the Giants if …

Josh Kelly re-signs.
- Zac Giannes, Adelaide SA

They make the Grand Final, and if they lose, there are signs they'll go one further in 2018.
- Isaac Radic, Sunshine Coast Qld

They capitalise on their talent and win the Grand Final.
- Josh Stone, Hilton WA

Must make the Grand Final. Losing by a single goal in the prelim to the eventual premiers still hurts.
- Jim Cunningham, Woonona NSW

They have a clean bill of health coming into the second half of the season.
- Katie Bui, Adelaide SA

Deledio is fit in time for the finals campaign and we win the flag.
- Nic Telfer, Perth WA
