WEST Coast senior coach Adam Simpson will not lead his team against the Western Bulldogs on Sunday after rushing home to Perth to be with his ill daughter.

Simpson's youngest child has been sick and was admitted to hospital on Saturday night, leading the coach to make the decision to fly home on Sunday morning.

He has four children, three girls and a boy.

Forwards coach and former Eagle Jaymie Graham will coach the side against the Bulldogs.

Graham has been an assistant coach at the club since 2014 and played 37 games for the team between 2005 and 2008.
