WESTERN Bulldogs youngster Tim English will miss at least a month after developing minor bone stress in his left foot following a VFL match on the weekend.

The 20-year-old ruckman complained of discomfort after collecting 26 disposals and 29 hit-outs in Footscray's win over Werribee on Sunday.

English will be on light duties for the next fortnight before increasing his training loads.

The West Australian, who was taken with pick 19 in the 2016 NAB AFL Draft, has played nine senior games in two seasons at Whitten Oval.

In better news for the club, premiership stars Dale Morris (knee) and Tory Dickson (hamstring) could return for Friday night's clash with Collingwood.
