PORT Adelaide star Robbie Gray is committed to finishing his outstanding career with the Power despite speculation Melbourne-based clubs had made approaches for the four-time All-Australian.

The 31-year-old's name surprisingly came up during the NAB AFL Trade Period, with reports several clubs inquired to see if match-winner Gray – who is an unrestricted free agent at the end of 2020 – would entertain a move.

"I didn't get any offers made to me or speak to any other clubs," Gray told reporters in Adelaide on Wednesday.

"We're seeing more and more …. lots of names thrown out there and lots more players are moving clubs, but I'm very happy here at Port Adelaide going into year number 14.

"I've been here a long time now and still driving hard to try to be successful and play in a flag.

"I'm confident the body's going to hold up well and I'll still be able to contribute."

Gray is supporting Movember through his business, The Fellow Barber, to raise funds and awareness for men's health.

It's an issue close to his heart after he was diagnosed with testicular cancer in 2017.

A three-time best and fairest at the Power from 2014-16, Gray had an up and down season in 2019 after struggling with injury in the first half of the year.

However, he won a record fifth Showdown Medal in round 16 against Adelaide and believes the Power are capable of competing strongly next year.

"I've got an amazing amount of confidence within our group," he said.

"While we didn't play finals this year, I think we were a bit unlucky with some of the things that happened.

"I'm confident we can get consistent seasons out of some of our more senior players that missed a fair bit of footy this year, along with the young guys who came in and had a significant impact."

Meanwhile, co-captain Tom Jonas believes the Power will stick with a joint leadership model for 2020.

Jonas and Ollie Wines shared the captaincy this year, taking over from long-time captain Travis Boak.

It was the first time Port Adelaide hasn't had a sole captain in the club's history dating back to 1870.

"At this stage, I think it'll be dual captains, as it should be," Jonas said.

"I appreciate tradition and respect that. At the same time, if we won the flag last year with co-captains, I'm sure (the supporters) would be all about it.

"I just ask all those supporters out there, support us, whatever the decision may be, whether it's list management, captaincy, game style, any of that."

Jonas's wine company, Hey Diddle Wines, is supporting Movember with a limited-edition wine raising funds with every bottle sold.
