COLLINGWOOD has dropped Alex Fasolo for Sunday's clash with the Western Bulldogs.

A Collingwood spokesperson said Fasolo's omission was purely based on form, a week after he collected just five disposals against Melbourne in the Queen's Birthday clash and was substituted out of the game.

Two weeks ago, Fasolo kicked four goals in Collingwood's runaway win over St Kilda.

Fasolo has been named as an emergency, while Tyson Goldsack misses with a knee injury.

Jessie White and Taylor Adams return for the Magpies.

Former Magpie Sharrod Wellingham earned a late reprieve for West Coast on Friday evening when the Eagles withdrew Scott Selwood due to an ankle injury and reinstated Wellingham in their 22 to face Gold Coast.

The Bulldogs have made just one change from the side that lost to the Brisbane Lions last Saturday night. Liam Jones has been included replacing Christian Howard.

Geelong has named two debutants for Sunday's clash with St Kilda at Simonds Stadium. Brad Hartman and Darcy Lang will play their first games for the club.

Hartman, a former basketballer from Sturt in South Australia, was drafted with pick No. 77 in the 2012 NAB AFL draft.

Lang, a dynamic midfielder, was Geelong's first pick in last year's national draft at No. 16 overall.

Dawson Simpson also returns as Hamish McIntosh and Jed Bews have both been rested while Jesse Stringer has been omitted.

David Armitage will play his first game since round four for St Kilda having recovered from a serious knee laceration. Jimmy Webster has also been included at the expense of Clint Jones and Sam Dunell.

Michael Hurley and Jason Winderlich return for Essendon as they prepare to face Melbourne at the MCG. Jobe Watson had hip surgery this week and will face an uphill battle to play again this season while Cory Dell'Olio has been dropped.

The Demons have made three changes. Jordie McKenzie, Aiden Riley, and Dean Kent have all be included in place of Jay Kennedy-Harris, Dean Terlich, and Max Gawn.

Fremantle recruit Colin Sylvia has been named to play his first game for the Dockers after emerging from a long battle with form and injury in the west this year.

The former Demon, who crossed to Fremantle as a free agent last year, has been named on the interchange bench for Saturday's clash against Richmond at the MCG.

He is one of two inclusions, with key defender Alex Silvagni also named for his third game this season, replacing injured pair Luke McPharlin (knee) and Michael Johnson (knee).

The Tigers have made four changes after their loss to North Melbourne, recalling Chris Newman, Aaron Edwards, Shaun Hampson and Dylan Grimes.

Key forward Ben Griffiths and midfielder Matt McDonough have been omitted while tall forward Ty Vickery and tough onballer Matt Thomas are suspended.

Port Adelaide has recalled a trio of key players for Saturday's crunch game against the Sydney Swans at the SCG, with captain Travis Boak headlining the inclusions.

The Power will also be strengthened by forward Angus Monfries and speedster Matt White, but midfielder Jared Polec will miss with an ankle injury. Sam Gray and Ben Newton have been omitted.

The Swans have made two changes for the clash between the top-four rivals, with star big man Kurt Tippett (knee) and forward Ben McGlynn (hand) replaced by Mike Pyke and Brandon Jack.

Carlton veteran Chris Judd returns after his tune-up in the VFL, replacing small forward Jeff Garlett (omitted) for Friday night's clash against Hawthorn at the MCG.

The Hawks have included ruckman David Hale and rookie Ben Ross, who will play his first game for the season, with Luke Lowden omitted after his dream debut last week.

Wingman Billy Hartung will miss with an elbow injury.

West Coast captain Darren Glass is one of three Eagles to miss Saturday's clash against Gold Coast at Patersons Stadium after announcing his retirement on Thursday.

Ruckman Dean Cox (soreness) and Sharrod Wellingham (omitted) have also been left out, replaced by key forward Josh Kennedy, who returns from a broken cheekbone, ruckman Scott Lycett and Brad Sheppard.

Gold Coast has made two changes, with Alex Sexton and Aaron Hall replacing Clay Cameron (omitted) and Karmichael Hunt (knee).

Adelaide half-back Brent Reilly will finally play his 200th game after being dropped ahead of the Crows' round nine clash against Collingwood.

The Crows have also called Matthew Wright and Matt Crouch into the team to take on North Melbourne at Adelaide Oval on Saturday, with rookie Charlie Cameron out with a groin injury.

Cam Ellis-Yolmen and Jarryd Lyons have been omitted.

The Roos have regained forwards Lindsay Thomas and Robbie Tarrant, with Majak Daw and Sam Wright omitted.

Greater Western Sydney defender Phil Davis makes his anticipated return from a serious kidney injury against the Brisbane Lions at the Gabba on Saturday night.

The Giants co-captain will be joined by inclusions Josh Hunt, Jeremy Cameron and Josh Kelly, with Jed Lamb, Rory Lobb and Kristian Jaksch omitted. Curtley Hampton will miss with a shoulder injury.

The Lions have named an unchanged line-up after their win against the Western Bulldogs in round 12.
