The Western Bulldogs, as one of the 18 clubs of the Australian Football League (AFL) and situated in the fastest growing region of Australia, are seeking a new Property Coordinator to provide operational and logistical property services support to ensure effective and efficient operations within the Football Department.

This position is responsible for the day to day property services within the Football Department and will report directly to the Football Operations Manager. This role is an excellent chance to showcase your organisation and logistics skills in a busy, dynamic and fast paced environment. The successful candidate will need to be available to work all training sessions, match days, including pre-season, practice matches and interstate games.
In this role, you will oversee the smooth operations of our property area where your responsibilities will include:
  • Manage Property budget;
  • Managing contra accounts (including apparel, drinks and footballs);
  • Managing inventory control of apparel;
  • Ordering equipment and maintenance of equipment as required;
  • Operating and maintaining laundry service;
  • Driving and maintaining property vehicle;
  • Leading a team of support staff;
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work environment;
  • Preparing all property requirements relating to match day and training sessions (including manual handling);
  • Packing and unpacking all equipment on match day;
  • Managing the AFL Drug Testing process;
  • Assisting ASADA in administering random drug testing throughout the year; and
  • Managing the weekly and on-going maintenance of spa and baths.
We are seeking an individual with the proven ability to make decisions in regards to property and logistics and the ability to form and maintain strong relationships and good rapport with players and staff. The ideal candidate will be well presented, show initiative and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. To be successful you must have a “hands on” and flexible approach to work and have the ability to prioritise and make proactive decisions where necessary. The ability to work autonomously is a key component of this position.
