AS WE review round three and look ahead to round four, many coaches are in a position where their hand has been forced though injury, while some lucky coaches will be pulling the trigger with what we call ‘luxury trades’.

INJURIES
Unfortunately, the injury to Mark LeCras [FWD, $461,076] will force 29,289 coaches to trade him out on the back of re-injuring his arm. The in-form forward was off to a great start to the season he suffered a fractured arm against the Saints on Saturday with just 16 Fantasy points to his name.

Popular rookie Patrick Ambrose [FWD, $164,215] leaves over 44,000 coaches with a tough call after being a late withdrawal on the weekend and looking like missing multiple weeks. He has made a solid start to the season with an average of 67 and an impressive 77 in his last outing. With a break even of -22, he is definitely worth keeping if possible, as his price is still likely to rise over the year.

As always, we need to keep an eye on Thursday’s team selections with  rumours already circulating about the health and fitness of many popular selections leading into round four.

CHOPPING BLOCK
After a solid pre season and promising round one, Josh Caddy [FWD/MID, $346,665] has made his way into 46,368 teams, but going on current form, his days may be numbered. Caddy scored just 63 last weekend on the back of 55 the previous round, to contribute to a season average of just 68. With a break-even of 67, his price won't move too drastically this week if coaches give him one more chance to prove himself. There are already rumours of Caddy starring in his own movie based on the 2014 season called 'Caddy Slack'.

ON THE RADAR
If you are on the hunt for an in-form forward who is under 400K, look no further than Jackson Merrett [FWD, $382,927]. Despite a steep price rise of over $50,000, Merrett still provides great value with a massive average of 112 and a break-even of -2. He was outstanding on the weekend against Carlton, collecting 35 touches and taking an impressive 10 marks to score 131 points, after scores of 94 and 111 in his first two games of the season. Although coaches can't back on Merrett to maintain his average of 112, his price will certainly rise to new heights over the coming weeks.

Matthew Crouch [MID, $211,725] started in the green vest against the Swans on Saturday, which was a blessing in disguise as it limited his time on ground on debut, and ensured his initial price rise wasn’t too big. When Crouch came on  in the second quarter, it was easy to see why many consider him one of the best Fantasy rookies of the year. He collected 18 possessions, took two marks and laid four tackles on his way to an impressive 69 points. With Scott Thompson and his brother Brad injured, look for Crouch to embrace the opportunity and score well, while increasing significantly in price.

Tom Rockliff [MID, $562,664] was outstanding last week against the Suns with a massive score of 157, following his one-week suspension. Some coaches were worried about his role after tagging Sam Mitchell in round one, but my boy was nothing but a ball magnet, collecting 35 possessions, taking 11 marks, laying five tackles and kicking three goals. He finished 2013 like a house on fire and is owned by less than 10,000 coaches due to his round one mishap. He has a break even of 73, so expect a price rise after this round.

THE TRADERS' WEEK
It is only Tuesday, so trade plans could change with selection news, but here is what the boys are currently planning to do:

Warnie:

Out: Alexis Georgio
In: Matt Crouch
(via DPP, Tom Langdon to defence)

Out: Josh Caddy
In: Matthew Wright

Warnie is jumping on a couple of Adelaide players this week. Via DPP, he's moving DEF/MID Tom Langdon into defence and using some of his cash in his bank to get Matt Crouch into the midfield, along with moving Josh Caddy on for Matthew Wright.

He's confident both will perform well with a few stars missing and the favourable draw for the Crows, playing St Kilda, Greater Western Sydney, Western Bulldogs and Melbourne leading into their bye.

Calvin:

Out: Mark LeCras
In: Paul Chapman

Out: Scott Selwood
In: Joel Selwood

Calvin is looking for some proven Fantasy stars to steady the ship and in-form stars Chappy and Joel Selwood look like the men for the job.

Roy:

Out: Mark LeCras
In: Jackson Merrett

Out: Josh Caddy
In: Gary Ablett

I am looking for a ‘go to’ captain after regretfully starting without the Little Master, while also chasing the undeniable value of Merrett.
