About AFL Membership

There are two categories of AFL Membership - Silver and Full.

All new Members automatically become Silver Members. Silver Members are offered Full Membership when vacancies arise.

What's the difference between a Full Membership and a Silver Membership of the AFL?

A Silver Members' entitlements for the season finish after the second week of the Finals. Up until this point, Full and Silver Member entitlements are identical. A Full Members entitlements continue onto the Preliminary and Grand Final.

So what do I get as a Silver Member?

As a Silver Member, you can either take a Competition Package, which gains you entry to 40 matches* at the MCG, Telstra Dome and Optus Oval, in any combination.

Alternatively, you can take the Club Support Package, which gives you access to 11 home matches of your nominated Club plus an additional 29 matches at the MCG, Telstra Dome and Optus Oval.*

Importantly, with Club Support, a portion of your Membership fee goes direct to your nominated Club, making you a Member of your Club as well.

* Entry to all matches is subject to availability and is not guaranteed. Club Support not available for Adelaide Crows as the Crows Membership is at capacity.

As well as this, both Competition and Club Support Members receive access* to all Wizard Cup Matches, the Wizard Cup Grand Final, all CUB AFL Finals played in Victoria during the first two weeks of the Finals plus much more.

How much does it cost for an AFL Silver Membership

Joining Fees

There is a one-off joining fee to become a member of the AFL. This fee can be paid over 2 years in 2 equal instalment. The cost of these joining fees are:

Adult - $290 (or $145 per year over 2 years)
Junior - $175 (or $87.50 per year over 2 years)

Club Support Packages:

Adult - $279
Concession - $148
Junior - $100

Competition Packages:

Adult - $268
Concession - $142.50
Junior - $100
