FORMER Sydney and Brisbane Bears high flyer Warwick Capper has hinted he is considering a playing comeback.

Capper, 45, has not pulled on the boots since a brief 2002 stint at his former junior club, the South Port Sharks.

Speaking from his Gold Coast home, Capper made strong indications regarding his plans.

“People will look at me and say, he’s Warwick Capper.”

Capper made no further comment, but sources close to him indicate the 45-year-old is serious about his comeback.

One confidante of the former star noted: “He usually spends his in front of the mirror looking at his hair and his deep, sexy tan. Recently he’s been wearing an old footy jumper while he does that, which makes me think he’s for real”

Should Capper gain a spot on an AFL list, he’d be the oldest listed footballer since Michael Tuck, who entered the 1991 season listed at 48, although he was widely believed to be 60.
