KURT Tippett's wish to move to the Sydney Swans dominates the trade talk one day before the official Gillette AFL Trade Period begins.

Tippett's manager, Peter Blucher, has called upon the Crows to hold their end in a 'gentleman's agreement' to help the 25-year-old get to the club of his choice.

Blucher denied reports that a clause in Tippett's contract stipulated he could go to a club for his choice for just a second-round pick.

A report in The Age says the Swans have told veteran midfielder Jude Bolton there is a place on their list for him in 2013 should he want to play on.

Bolton turns 33 in March.

The Age also reports Collingwood and Melbourne have had talks on moving Sharrod Wellingham and Chris Dawes to the Demons for the fourth overall pick.

Wellingham had nominated West Coast as his club of choice and his manager insists he has no interest in moving to the Demons.

For its part, Melbourne may yet be forced to use the third overall pick on father-son choice Jack Viney, meaning it may not be so keen to trade away the fourth pick.

AFL.com.au
understands Port Adelaide has joined the party, tabling a deal for Wellingham.

Fremantle youngster Dylan Roberton is seeking a return to his home state Victoria, with the Herald Sun reporting that he notified Fremantle of his decision to leave on Saturday.

Collingwood's Tyson Goldsack will not be moving after edging closer to a new contract with the Magpies
, while veteran St Kilda defender Jason Blake will have to wait until the end of the trade period before the Saints make a decision on his future.
