Richmond fans will have to look harder to spot Ben Nason on the field from now on, after the 21-year-old cut off his trademark dreadlocks.

Nason had his first haircut in four years courtesy of team-mate Brett Deledio at the ME Bank Centre yesterday.

The speedy midfielder is supporting his mother Wendy, a breast cancer sufferer, by aiming to raise $10,000 for the McGrath Foundation.

After Deledio took to the blonde locks, Nason had his new style created by Shibui in South Yarra.
