The Lions Reserves' chances of making the QAFL Finals have been aided by the inclusions of some senior players ahead of this Saturday's match against the Western Magpies.

Most notably, the match will see the return of both ruckman Matthew Leuenberger and Vice-Captain Jed Adcock from long-term knee injuries.

The Lions will also welcome back Troy Selwood, Rhan Hooper and Pearce Hanley who have overcome injuries to be available for this all-important clash.

The Lions currently sit inside the top QAFL five, but remain ahead of the sixth place Northern Territory side by just .4 per cent.

Therefore, the Lions must defeat the winless Western Magpies by a considerable margin to earn a finals berth.
