The Melbourne Football Club will farewell three of its favourite players this Sunday, in what should be an emotional end to the season.

Paul Wheatley heads the list of six inclusions into the fianl team, along with Clint Bartram, Nathan Jones, Lynden Dunn, Jamie Bennell and Brad Miller, while Matthew Whelan will play his 150th game after overcoming a hamstring injury during the week.

Russell Robertson, who has been a senior player since 1997, was presented with his Life Membership in 2006.  As senior players for ten years, both Wheatley and Whelan complete their careers at Melbourne having qualified for Life Membership.

Matthew Bate will not play due to sore ribs, and utility Ricky Petterd will also miss with a slight groin complaint.  Paul Johnson, Tom McNamara, Stefan Martin and Shane Valenti have not been selected this week..
