ADELAIDE'S forward line has regained some much-needed firepower with two of the club's biggest names set to return for Sunday's clash with the Sydney Swans.

Brett Burton and Jason Porplyzia are among four changes for the Crows as they try to boot a winning score - something that proved a problem not only in their round-one loss to Fremantle but throughout their pre-season campaign.

Ruckman Ivan Maric and James Sellar, another forward option, will also return.

Out of the side goes injured pair Scott Stevens and Rory Sloane, while Jonathon Griffin and Tony Armstrong have both been dropped.

The Sydney Swans have made just one change as they seek to end a long drought against the Crows at AAMI Stadium.

Coach Paul Roos continues to have faith in his beefed-up youth policy, promoting youngster Dan Hannebery in favour of the versatile Ted Richards.

Jay Neagle has paid the price for a disappointing round-one display with Essendon coach Matthew Knights axing the young forward from his line-up to take on Fremantle at Etihad Stadium on Sunday.

Kyle Reimers is also on the outer, with Mark McVeigh and David Myers returning to add some run for the Bombers.

Fremantle will go in unchanged, with Adam McPhee on track to face his former side for the first time.

Richmond duo Jake King and Jayden Post will face the Western Bulldogs in Sunday's twilight fixture at the MCG after winning a call-up from Damien Hardwick.

Ben Cousins (knee) and draftee Relton Roberts, who is serving a club-imposed suspension, are the Tigers to make way.

The Western Bulldogs also made two changes, selecting reliable defender Dale Morris and former Geelong rookie Brodie Moles to make his AFL debut.

Dylan Addison and Josh Hill have been omitted.
