On Friday morning a group of Magpies were put through their paces under the guidance of coach Nathan Buckley in a two-kilometre time trial in Albert Park.

Before the entire playing group returns to the track on Monday, Buckley oversaw a testing run under sunny skies.

The team departs to Flagstaff, Arizona on Tuesday to take part in the annual preseason high-altitude camp.
