MELBOURNE fans will be waiting anxiously to discover the cost of Saturday's 16-point loss to Essendon at the MCG, with forward Aaron Davey nursing a bruised heel and young key defender Colin Garland a hamstring complaint.
The club is waiting on the results of tests before they can determine the best course of treatment and the number of games each player will miss.
A hamstring is generally a 21-day injury, three rounds of football, but with only four matches remaining in the Demons' season, Garland will be hoping for news that will allow him to return earlier.
The 20-year-old has played 15 games in 2008 and was rewarded with the NAB Rising Star nomination for round 14.
